01About these terms
These terms apply when you buy a Speed Machine on jaritgolf.com or thespeedmachine.com. They’re an agreement between you and Jarit Golf (“we”, “us”).
By placing an order you agree to these terms, our Shipping & returns policy and our Privacy policy. The version in effect when you order is the one that applies to that order.
02Orders
- You’re charged in full when you place your order.
- Orders ship within 3–5 business days. If something holds yours up, we’ll email you a new date, and you can cancel for a full refund.
- You can cancel any time before your order ships for a full refund. Email arthur@jaritgolf.com.
- If for any reason we can’t ship your order at all, we’ll refund you in full.
03Price, tax and payment
- The price per Speed Machine is the one shown on the site and at checkout when you order, in US dollars. Any sales tax that applies is included in that price, and shipping within the US is free.
- Payment is handled by Stripe. We accept the cards and wallets shown at checkout.
- Your price is locked once you order. We may change prices for future orders.
- If a price or product detail is shown in error, we may cancel the affected order and refund it in full.
04Order limits and cancellations by us
- You can buy up to five Speed Machines per order.
- We may refuse or cancel an order, for example for suspected fraud, an address we can’t ship to, or an obvious error. If we cancel, we refund you in full.
05Shipping and delivery
We ship to addresses in the United States only. Delivery times, tracking, and what happens if a parcel is lost or damaged are covered in our Shipping & returns policy. Ownership and risk of loss pass to you when the carrier delivers your order.
06The putting guarantee
Every Speed Machine comes with our putting guarantee: if you aren’t putting better, in your own judgement, you can return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, and we pay the return label, as described in our Shipping & returns policy. Refunds go back to your original payment method.
07Warranty
Your Speed Machine comes with a 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, described in our Shipping & returns policy.
To the extent the law allows, that is the only warranty we give, and any implied warranties (such as merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose) are limited to its length. Some states don’t allow limits on implied warranties, so this may not apply to you.
08The app and the Speed Number
- The Speed Machine works with the free Jarit App for iPhone and iPad, which is where the training program lives. You need a compatible iPhone or iPad and the app to use it as designed. Android support is planned, but we can’t promise a date.
- We update the app and its training program over time and may add, change or remove features.
- The Speed Number is Jarit Golf’s own training scale for putting speed. It’s built for practice, not as a certified measurement of speed.
09Using the Speed Machine safely
Use it as its instructions describe: indoors, with the included mat, on a flat, level, hard floor. Charge it with the included cable and a standard USB-C charger, keep it dry, and keep small parts and golf balls away from young children.
10Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Jarit Golf isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim about a product is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit, or takes away your rights as a consumer under the laws of your state.
11Intellectual property
The Speed Machine is patent pending. This site, the app, the training program, and the Jarit Golf name and cup mark belong to Jarit Golf.
12Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
If something goes wrong, email us first: most problems are fixed quickly that way. If we can’t resolve it, either of us may bring a claim in small-claims court, or otherwise in the state or federal courts in Palm Beach County, Florida, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it there.
13Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for future orders. The date at the top shows the latest version; your order stays under the version you agreed to.
