Speed Control=Distance Control

The home putting trainer that measures every putt in MPH — and grooves the one skill that actually ends three-putts.

The real miss

Confidence isn't a mindset.
It's knowing your speed.

You're over a 40-footer. The line you've got — years of gates and mirrors. But the speed? You don't really know. So you hit, and you hope.

That's not bad nerve — it's a hole in your training. You've never actually trained speed, and it shows up exactly where it costs the most: standing over the ball.

~80%of three-putts are distance errors, not line errors.
A long putt: ball resting far from the hole on a putting green
Speed, not distance

You can't hit a distance.
You can only hit a speed.

Two 10-footers. One downhill, down-grain — slick, the ball wants to run. One uphill, into the grain — it dies unless you step on it. Same "10 feet," completely different putts.

So what were you ever really controlling? Not the distance — that was identical. The speed. Speed is the cause; distance is just the result.

So how do you control a speed you can't see? You give it a number. →

Putting in MPH

Speed used to be a feeling.
Now it's a number.

Speed was always a feel — and you can't train a feel. So the most important skill in putting remains the least trained.

Speed Control = Distance Control. Put a number on it: your ball speed in MPH, every putt. The feel becomes a fact — you wanted 8.0, you got 8.7. What you can measure, you can train.

So we built the thing that shows you the number. →

The Speed Machine

Roll it.
Fix it.
Repeat.

Putt in. It reads your speed off the face and puts it on the screen: 8.7 — then sends the ball back to your feet for the next one.

Every skill you own came from a loop: do it, see it, adjust, repeat. Putting never had one — until now. That's not practice. That's training.

The system

The Jarit Method

Groove a stroke at home all day — but if it doesn't show up on the course, what was the point? Closing that gap is the whole reason The Jarit Method exists.

01
Train
Build speed control at home with the device and app.
02
Calibrate
Match your trained speeds to today's greens in five minutes.
03
Execute
Stand over every putt with one number — and trust it.
Step 1 · At home

The machine measures every putt.
The app turns it into a skill.

The machine gives you the number. The app turns it into a program built around you.

  • 30 guided tracks. From 3 MPH touch putts to full-power lags, with gate tests you have to earn. Real results in 30 days.
  • A coach that remembers every putt. Shaky at 14 MPH? It feeds you 14 three times as often — deliberate practice, automatic.
  • Proof, not feel. "My 12 MPH accuracy went from 58% to 81% this month."

Own your speeds. Bring them to the course. →

Step 2 · Pre-round

Speeds are constant.
Greens are not.

Slow and shaggy or quick and crusty. Greens are always different. 7 MPH putt is 7 MPH for life. What changes course to course is how far it rolls. So you spend five minutes before the round calibrating, and your whole speed library snaps to the day's greens.

Step 3 · On the course

The voice in your head
finally goes quiet.

Over the ball it used to get loud — a little more… no, too much… don't leave it short… Now there's one word where the noise used to be: your number. You say it once, and everything else falls silent — just a speed you trust and a stroke you commit to.

That's the goal of Jarit Golf — to bring you from anxious to confident with the putter. On every green, every putt, for the rest of your life.

The science

Certainty isn't luck.

Built on 50+ years of motor-learning science — the same principles that train Olympic athletes and surgeons.

  • Blocked, then random practice — lock each speed in, then mix them, so the skill survives the course.
  • Adaptive coaching drills your weakest speeds most — deliberate practice, automatic.
  • Earned progression — no next speed until you've proven the last.
  • The challenge point — every session sits near 70%: hard enough to grow, never so hard you quit.

Random practice, random results. Structured, measured, personal practice builds permanent skill.

Why it works

More reps. Real practice.
A quiet mind.

1
Reps explode
Eight putts a minute, feedback on every one — volume impossible before.
·
2
Practice you'll do
Tracks to climb, weak spots auto-targeted, streaks to chase.
·
3
A quiet mind
One number instead of a dozen swing thoughts — pressure putts finally feel simple.
